Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to discover our work and contact the studio with ease. This statement describes what we have done so far, what is still being improved, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Our commitment to accessibility
STUDIO HOFFENBARTEL aims to make this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technologies. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our reference.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We have not yet completed a full review against these guidelines, and we do not claim that the website is fully accessible.
Accessibility features
The website currently includes:
- a consistent page structure, with one main heading on each page and headings in a logical order;
- a "Skip to content" link at the start of every page;
- full English and Hebrew versions, with the correct language and text direction on each page;
- text descriptions for meaningful images;
- labels for every form field, required fields marked for assistive technologies, and form messages in the language of the page;
- status messages, such as a sent inquiry or a newsletter subscription, announced to screen readers;
- a notice on links that open in a new tab;
- respect for the reduced motion setting of your device;
- main text colours that meet the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio for regular text.
An accessibility settings panel is available from the round button in the corner of every page. It lets you:
- increase or decrease the text size, from 90% to 150%;
- switch to a high contrast or a dark contrast display;
- highlight links;
- increase letter spacing or line spacing;
- pause animations and transitions;
- switch to a simpler, more readable font;
- reset all settings at once.
Your choices are saved on your device and applied on your next visit. The panel can be used with a keyboard and closed with the Escape key.
Navigation and assistive technologies
All links, buttons, menus and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly outlined. On smaller screens, the main menu opens as a full-screen panel that can be closed with the Escape key.
The website is built with standard HTML and works with the accessibility features of current browsers, such as zoom, text enlargement and reader modes. You can also use your browser's own zoom together with the accessibility settings panel.
Our review so far has combined automated checks with a review of the website's code. We have not yet tested the website manually with screen readers or other assistive technologies.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
- the underline that marks the fields of the contact and newsletter forms has lower contrast than recommended;
- on touch screens, some small text links, such as the page path at the top of product pages, have a smaller tap area than recommended;
- some product photographs are still being prepared, so a few pages show neutral image placeholders;
- the website has not yet been tested manually with screen readers or other assistive technologies;
- links to external services, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps, and newsletter emails sent by our mailing service, are provided by third parties whose accessibility we cannot control.
