STUDIO HOFFENBARTEL is an independent design studio in Tel Aviv, Israel, creating sculptural lighting, furniture and objects. In these terms, "we" and "the studio" refer to STUDIO HOFFENBARTEL, and "you" refers to anyone using this website or ordering from the studio.

All standard collection pieces are made to order. Each has a defined design and dimensions, and you may choose the wood from the options available for that piece: maple, oak or walnut.

Custom designs, special dimensions and bespoke commissions are not part of the standard ordering process. To discuss a commission, please contact the studio directly for a separate quotation; each commission is agreed on its own terms.

To order, you choose your piece and wood and send us an order inquiry. Sending an inquiry does not create an obligation to buy, and does not commit you to any payment.

We then send you a personal quotation stating the price of the piece, shipping charges where applicable, and the total payable to the studio as known at that time. For international orders, the quotation will state whether import duties, customs charges and local taxes are included.

Your order is confirmed once you have approved the final quotation and payment has been received.

Payment is made only after you approve the final quotation. We do not request any payment before then.

The payment methods available will be set out in your quotation.

The estimated production time for standard collection pieces is 4-6 weeks after your order has been confirmed and paid. This is an estimate, and it does not include delivery transit time.

We deliver within Israel and internationally, subject to the destination and the piece. Shipping is quoted individually for each order, and delivery times are confirmed with you depending on the destination and shipping method.

You may instead collect your completed order free of charge from our studio at 34 Menachem Begin Road, Tel Aviv, Israel, by prior appointment.

We offer voluntary returns and exchanges of eligible standard collection pieces within 14 days of receipt. For returns due to a change of mind, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility where permitted by law; eligible pieces may alternatively be returned at the studio by prior arrangement, with no return shipping costs.

Pieces that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect or not as ordered are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

This voluntary policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any cancellation, return, refund or other rights you have under applicable law. How to request a return is explained on our Shipping & Returns page.

Our pieces are made from natural wood. Grain, tone and texture vary from tree to tree and board to board, so every piece is individual and may differ slightly from others and from the photographs.

Photographs on this website are illustrative and may not show the exact grain or tone of your piece. This does not affect your rights if a piece does not conform to its description or to your order.

Your statutory rights in relation to the quality and conformity of your piece are respected in full. Any additional warranty offered by the studio will be stated in your quotation.

We are happy to advise on caring for your piece; please contact us with any questions.

The designs, photographs, text, graphics, logo and branding on this website are the property of STUDIO HOFFENBARTEL or are used with the permission of their owners, including the photographers whose work appears here, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Please do not copy, reproduce, adapt or use them commercially without our prior written permission.

How we handle the information you send us, including through the contact form and the newsletter, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you, including the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those published when you approve your quotation. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
