Privacy Policy

STUDIO HOFFENBARTEL is an independent design studio in Tel Aviv, Israel, creating sculptural lighting, furniture and objects. In this policy, "we" and "the studio" refer to STUDIO HOFFENBARTEL.

We receive personal information only when you choose to send it to us. The contact form asks for:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number, if you choose to give it;
• the subject of your inquiry and, if you select one, the piece you are interested in;
• your message.

The form also records which language version of the website you used. If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive information, such as payment details or identity numbers, through the form.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we receive only your email address.

We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry, to communicate with you about the pieces, projects, commissions or collaborations you have asked about, and to keep a record of our correspondence.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. We add your email address to our mailing list only if you subscribe to the newsletter yourself.

The contact form is processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party service that receives each submission and forwards it to the studio by email. Formspree handles submissions under its own privacy policy and terms. Because Formspree operates outside Israel, your information may be processed in other countries.

Each submission is sent to the studio's email inbox, Hoffenbartel@gmail.com, and is also available in the studio's Formspree account. The studio's email is provided by Google (Gmail), which processes messages under its own terms. Only the studio has access to these accounts.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is sent to Brevo (brevo.com), the service we use to manage our mailing list and to send occasional emails about new collections, objects and stories from the studio. Brevo handles your information under its own privacy policy and terms, and your information may be processed outside Israel.

Subscribing requires your confirmation: Brevo sends you an email with a confirmation link, and your address is added to the list only after you confirm. Brevo keeps a record of your subscription and confirmation.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter email, or by writing to Hoffenbartel@gmail.com. We keep your email address on the list until you unsubscribe.

Like most email services, Brevo may record technical information about newsletter emails, such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.

The form sends your information to Formspree over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable care to protect the information we receive. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep inquiries and related correspondence for as long as they are needed to respond to you and to keep a record of our communication, and we delete information that is no longer needed. Formspree keeps submissions according to its own retention settings.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, write to Hoffenbartel@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

This website links to services run by others, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps. If you follow these links, those services collect and use information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

The website's fonts and images are served with the website itself. It does not load advertising or analytics services.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The newsletter form sends your email address directly to Brevo; the website does not load Brevo's scripts or cookies.

If you use the language switcher, your choice of English or Hebrew is saved in your browser's local storage, so the website can open in that language on your next visit. If you use the accessibility settings, your choices (such as text size or contrast) are saved there too. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Like most websites, the service that hosts this website may automatically record standard technical information, such as IP addresses and browser types, in server logs.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
