Kōsa
Lighting
Where lines of light meet.
Kōsa takes its name from the Japanese word for a crossing, 交差. The pendant is drawn from intersecting illuminated lines: where they meet, light gathers and the form finds its centre. The geometry is precise, yet the wood keeps it warm, so the piece reads as both drawing and object, a clear structure suspended in space.
